G8 Performance Pro Series 2620 Insoles are purposely designed for technical shoes where minimal foot movement and direct power transfer are paramount and full sensation is essential. Unparalleled on the market, G8 modular insoles are customizable and low volume (perfect for cycling shoes).  They are engineered to increase forefoot flex and blood flow to maximize force transfer and reduce injury.

G8 Performance Pro Series 2620 Insoles provide a solid base that can be adjusted to accommodate as foot adaptations take place over time.

Custom insole benefits without the custom insole prices. The G8 Performance Pro Series 2620 Insole is a major upgrade compared to other aftermarket insoles and unlike a custom molded insole or a fully custom orthotic support, you can change the configuration of this insole as your feet adapt.  It is NOT a heat moldable insole that is formed into one single profile.

Independent Reviews

  • Review by Capo Velo:
“The G8 insoles represented a game-changing effect for me in terms of comfort and performance unlike any other insole or orthotic I had previously experienced. Not only did they live up to the company’s claim of providing optimal support, customization, and perceived injury prevention, but there’s a performance aspect that can only be described in layman’s terms as creating an almost catapulting effect throughout my pedal stroke.  Moreover, as someone who has compiled a cache of high-end cycling shoes over the last year or two that would make even Imelda Marcos jealous, the G8‘s gave me the ability to fine-tune each pair of shoes with the requisite amount of arch support and fore and aft adjustment, as to allow my feet to perform in their most natural way.”
  • Long Term Review – Tempo.SG:
    • Allows continuous adjustments. This is the G8’s main selling point. A proper fitting insole is not easy to find. You have basically two options – go to a shop that will let you try a range and provide aftersales (to swap to other insoles), or do it yourself. I went the DIY route. I could not afford to keep buying different insoles to try, so the G8’s adjustability was really awesome. I realized that my foot changed over the course of exercise. What fit really well at the start might not be over time. I also realized that my foot adjusted to the insoles over time, and I slowly shifted through the different levels and positions of the arch supports.

Customer Reviews of the G8 2620 Insoles

  • “They are worth the coin!” – Harold P.
  • “The G8 insoles have worked extremely well for me. The ability to independently customize my left vs right foot was key to finding a good fit. The level of insole support is just right for me.” – Nikos
  • “Has transformed my cycling shoes. They feel like a new pair. The arch support puts the front part of my foot in the correct position and on longer 2-3 hour rides I no longer have pain.” – David O.
  • “I used these insoles to compensate for flat feet while bicycling. I used the 5 level, the highest, on my left foot, and the 2 level on my right foot to straighten my legs so that my knees tracked over my feet, rather than being off to one side. It eliminated the leg pain, and I can cycle longer and harder now. Money well spent.” – Reed M.

Please email or call us if you would like to discuss these more. As well as selling them online here I (John Higgins, CEO and owner of Fit Kit Systems) use them myself and recommend them to many clients who come to see me for a bike fitting.  They work wonders for people with extremely high arches like myself, as well as people with very flat feet, and all types in between.

Tired of foot pain after big elevation rides using Icebug’s, these G8’s are proving their worth every single ride. Still on Level One, they are worth the coin.

I’ve been getting pain and numb feet on longer rides. I’ve tried other insoles and had a bike fit, but the pain has persisted. While the G8’s have yet to completely eliminate the pain, I’m still experimenting with my setup and my feet definitely feel better. I do also notice better support when out of the saddle.

Anyway, I ended up ordering a second pair of these, so that I can have them in both my road and MTB shoes. I also tried the wedges and Metdomes, but I didn’t end up needing them.

These are very expensive for what they are, but since they can be modified and changed over time as your feet change, I’d still rather buy these than have to test a bunch of insoles that aren’t customizable and being stuck with them if they don’t work. Also, I was able to get reimbursed for these by my FSA account, so that brings the price down considerably.

Love the G8s for cycling. This is my second pair. The adjustable arch sizes and placement options have been key in alleviating my foot numbness. Regular off-the-shelf footbeds never had the right size arch or placement for my feet, so G8 to the rescue. I will buy again when I wear out this pair.

G8s don’t just prop up your arches; they help them get stronger! Here’s the deal:

  • Natural Movement Matters: The G8 design encourages your feet to move naturally inside your shoe. Think of it as a mini workout for your plantar muscles. Stronger plantar muscles act like built-in arch supports, keeping your feet happy and healthy over the long haul.
  • Custom Fit for You: The adjustable arch piece lets you find the perfect level of support for your unique arch height. When you’re seated and not putting weight on your foot, the arch piece should comfortably cradle the bony area under your toes (the first and second metatarsals). This ensures proper support when you’re up and moving.

With G8s, your arches get the customized support they need without feeling restricted. It’s a win-win for both comfort and performance!

Fitting your G8 Performance 2620 insoles requires a seated position to minimize pressure on your feet:

  1. Prep your shoes: Remove the existing insoles from your shoes.
  2. Natural foot shape: Sit down. Place the arch piece of the insole behind the first and second metatarsal heads (the bony area under your toes) to find the right arch support.
Secure and trim: Once you find a comfortable arch fit, secure the arch piece by clicking it into place according to the insole instructions. Then, trim the excess material around the toes using your existing insole as a guide.
  3. Ready for your shoes: Now, place the trimmed insole into your shoe. Repeat steps 1-3 for the other foot.

Final adjustments:

Once you stand up, walk around to assess comfort and ensure a smooth heel-to-forefoot roll during walking. Minor adjustments to the arch support position might be needed for optimal comfort.

The lifespan of your G8 insoles depends on two main factors: wear and tear, and arch support.

  • Wear and Tear (12-18 months): Just like your favorite shoes, G8 insoles are exposed to sweat, heat, and friction. These elements can cause the materials to degrade over time. The good news is, the 2620 Pro Series insoles are designed to last around the life of your shoe, which is typically 12-18 months depending on how often you wear them.
  • Arch Support Optimization: G8’s strength lies in their adjustable arch support. As your feet strengthen and your plantar muscles develop, your arch support needs may change. You might need to adjust the arch piece to maintain optimal support. This is a good indicator that it’s time to re-evaluate your insole fit and ensure the arch piece is positioned for the highest part of your arch, not near your heel.

By following the care instructions for your G8 insoles, you can help them reach their full lifespan and provide lasting comfort and support for your feet. Remember, when your arch support is no longer optimal and you’ve reached the maximum arch height setting on the insole, it might be time for a new pair of G8s.

Absolutely! The 2620s were practically made for flat feet. Here’s why:

  • Strength Through Movement: The 2620s encourage your feet to move naturally inside your shoe. Think of it as a workout for your plantar muscles. Stronger plantar muscles act like built-in arch supports, improving overall foot function.
  • Improved Efficiency: Stronger feet mean better blood flow, better feedback to your brain, and more efficient force transfer through your foot. This translates to less energy wasted and potentially fewer issues in your calves, Achilles, and knees.
  • Gradual Progression: We understand it’s not an overnight fix. That’s why the 2620s come with adjustable arch pieces. Start with level 1 and gradually increase support as your feet get stronger. This process can take 8-18 months, depending on the severity of your flat feet.

Listen to Your Body:

  • Break-In Period: There might be some initial discomfort, especially if you jump into high mileage right away. Give your feet time to adjust to the increased movement.
  • Listen Up: Pay attention to how your feet feel. If you experience discomfort, take a break and allow your muscles to recover with some rest and topical magnesium.

By following these tips, the G8 Performance 2620s can become your partner for stronger, happier feet!
