Most of our products ship within 1 week from the time that you place your order. We will contact you if there is any exception to this timeline. The Fit Kit Systems tools are handcrafted in small batches in the USA. Some items may be temporarily out of stock, resulting in a delayed shipment. You will receive an e-mail with tracking number when your order has shipped.
The online store includes a shipping calculator, and estimates and charges are based on boxed dimensions and weight for the item or items ordered.
If you are concerned that the shipping calculator is not accurately estimating the shipping costs, contact us in advance of placing your order.
Shipping in the United States
We recommend UPS Ground for most packages, and USPS for small box or envelope items.
Shipping to Canada
We recommend USPS to our Canadian customers. The number of days in transit is normally 3-8 business days. Please contact us if you have any other shipping needs.
We recommend USPS Priority Mail International which will deliver through your countries local postal service, or DHL Express.
International Import Customs, Duties and Fees
Import customs, duties, brokerage and fees are not assessed by Fit Kit Systems and will not be reflected or included on the invoice. Any import costs will be the sole responsibility of the “Importer” designated as the “Addressee” upon entering the country and the country specific governmental requirements.
International Orders above $2500.00 USD
A Shippers’ Export Declaration (SED) or Electronic Export Information (EEI) number must be filed to the United States Government that exceed $2500.00. Fit Kit Systems will file this report on your behalf as required by law. An additional fee of $10.00 will be added to the invoice to cover processing.
All domestic or international orders are CIP (Carriage and Insurance Paid – Incoterms 2010) from the Shipping Point in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Title to and responsibility for the order passes to the buyer at the point when the shipping carrier picks up the order at the Fit Kit Systems facility. All shipping costs, insurance, customs clearance, origin documentation charges, and any other costs associated with getting the order from Salt Lake City, Ut, USA to the buyer are the responsibility of the buyer, whether prepaid on invoice or not. We do our best to anticipate all such known costs in advance but we do not guarantee that unforeseen or new government charges may materialize in the process of getting the order form shipping point to destination, especially for international shipments.
Damage in Transit
We take great care to package your fitting components so they will not be damaged in transit. The merchandise is in perfect condition when it is packed and shipped. Unpack immediately and check for damage. Place any damage claim with the delivering carrier and have inspection made at once. Our guarantee covers manufacturing defects only. DO NOT RETURN TO FIT KIT SYSTEMS. Once an order is shipped the order cannot be cancelled.
Order Cancellation Policy
Cancellations: If you place an order and then cancel it before it is shipped, you will be refunded.
Sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations once your order has been shipped (see above). Orders which are refused at delivery will not be credited.
Fraudulent Charge-back Policy
If you do not remember having placed an order with us, or the name on the statement does not look familiar to you (it should say “Fit Kit Systems”, or “GoBike LLC”), please call us at (800) 434-8548 before requesting a chargeback from your credit card provider or bank.
Fraudulent Charges or Stolen Credit Card Purchases: We log IP addresses on all orders–any orders coming back as a chargeback due to fraudulent activities will be diligently pursued through your local jurisdiction for prosecution to the fullest extent of the law!
